How does the personalisation and stencil selection work?

When you place your order, you will first input your personalisation details. Once that is finalised, you will be able to select your free stencil design (we will email you, or you can email us immediately after placing your order. That works too). We package your personalisation details, the chosen stencil, and the entire painting kit together so that everything arrives at your doorstep in a single shipment, ready for you to create.

What colors can I make with the paints provided?

The kit includes six high-pigment fabric paint pots: the standard primary colors (Red, Yellow, and Blue) plus Black, White, and Brown. Because we provide the essential primary building blocks alongside mixing neutrals, you can blend them to create an almost infinite spectrum of shades: from soft pastels and vibrant secondaries to deep, earthy tones.

Is this kit suitable for children?

While anyone can enjoy crafting, this specific kit is geared primarily toward adults and teens. We use a premium, heavy-duty cotton canvas tote bag designed for long-term, everyday functional use, and provide a flat head and a fine detail brush for intricate work.

Will the paint wash off or fade?

Not if it is properly heat-set! Fabric paint is designed to be permanent. Once your painted design is completely dry (we recommend waiting 48 hours), place a scrap piece of cotton fabric over the design or turn the bag inside out. Iron over the painted area on a medium, dry setting (no steam) for 3–5 minutes. This sets the pigment into the canvas fibers, making it safe for gentle hand washing.

How should I care for my finished tote bag?

To ensure your wearable art lasts for years, we recommend hand washing the bag in cold water and avoiding the washing machine, if you absoletly must use the washing machine, we recommend using a gentle, cold cycle on your washing machine with the bag turned inside out. Line dry out of direct sunlight, and avoid using harsh detergants and fabric conditioners. Do not ever bleach..

Do I need to worry about the paint bleeding through the bag while painting?

Because cotton canvas is a woven fabric, paint can sometimes seep through to the other side under heavy application. We highly recommend placing a flat piece of cardboard or thick scrap paper inside the tote bag before you start painting to keep the back side pristine.
